Beautiful bright cool day. Up 7 A.M. Johnny March Bolted french. Home. Helped father and studied. To college 11-12:30 and 1:30 to 2:30 P.M. Down street. Bowled at Star 189-108. Purchased soft collar etc. Studied. Bowled at Y with Doris, H.H., Dot Gallup, Hayes, Finch & Norris. Fine time. To bed 11 P.M. Thankful for associations.

It's not clear who "bolted french"--was it Stanford or Johnny March? Or maybe Johnny March is not a person? I'm confused . . .
