Beautiful bright cold windy day. Arose 7 A.M. To college 8-9; 11-12 M. Chored around. Helped father etc. Took 1:32 train for Syracuse to attend Student Volunteer Convention. Stayed 838 Ostrum Ave. Fine house and family. Registered. Supper. Evening session Sterioptican [sic] lecture. Miss Honsingner spoke. Other speeches. Fine time. To bed 11:50 P.M.
