DOLLAR DAY. Cold windy blustery day. Little snow. Arose 7:15 A.M. To college 9-12:30 M. to meeting of Student Volunteer delegates. Down town in P.M. Bought several articles. Bowled at [drawing of star] 147-153-173-186. Home in evening. Studied etc. To bed 9:30 P.M. Thankful for health.

I guess every year at this time the Student Volunteers have their conference. Stanford must be a delegate. Last year he was sick so couldn't participate in that.

I believe Stanford likes Dollar Days so he can shop for bargains. I guess John comes by it honest.
