Fair and hot in A.M. Windy toward night. Arose 8 A.M. Helped father. Candled eggs etc. To class day exercises in Jackson's garden in P.M. Fine. Wrote in diary etc. Read etc. Wrote letters to D.S.R. and S.E.S. Walked around. To bed 10 P.M.

I wonder if either Dorothea or Stella kept any of Stanford's letters? It would be interesting to read them.
