Overcast hot day but no rain. Arose 8:30 A.M. Breakfast and morning worship. To Round Lake to church. Nice ride. Fine sermon by Bishop Quayle. Slept read etc. in P.M. Back to city 9 P.M.Walked & talked with Russell. To bed 12 P.X.

Bishop Quayle was a Methodist bishop, I'm guessing. Here is an excerpt from an article in the Methodist journal, Christian Advocate for September 23, 1920.
