Most beautiful bright hot summer day. Arose 8:45 A.M. To Church & S.S. at Glenville Center. To Hardins Crossing after Ruth, M.J.F. and D.S.R. Fooled around in P.M. at Park Site. Walked, talked, read etc. Back to city. To E.L. {R-M, S-D} to Reynolds. Eats etc. Fine time. Moonlight. To bed 1 A.M.

I'm not sure, but I think the letters (R-M, S-D) means that Stanford was paired up with Dorothea and Ruth was paired up with Merlin. I wonder how long they went out?
