Beautiful hot hay day. Arose 5:15 A.M. Father, N.M.C. & I to city. To work at U.S.A.R.D. 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. To country place by way of Scotia to sea [sic] barber about store. Lots of cars from other cities and states pass thru. Took Uncle Henry out riding in evening to Charlton, Rittle, Troy etc. To bed 9:45 P.X.
