**********
I looked for the Brasefields in Schenectady environs, but was unable to find any but those who lived in Easton, PA, more than 200 miles from Schenectady. There are two children of the right ages and names, but Easton seems very far for Ruth to be driving, so either they were in town and visiting others, or they were by then living nearby. There are no Brasefields listed in the Closson genealogy, so they are probably not relatives.
