Bright and overcast intermittent. Arose 8:15 A.M. Toilet made and breakfast eaten. To Scotch Street to church. Dinner. Took nap in P.M. Marcus Rose & Jesse here to call in P.M. Picked berries for R's & F's. Ruth, Merlin & I to city on errands and thence out to Reynolds to supper. Good eats, fine time. To bed 1:15 A.M.

This was Nellie's 34th birthday, apparently, at least according to Stanford's pictures. Here they are; they're kind of cute, really.



Nellie died a little more than 30 years later on August 25, 1950 in Washington, DC. Below is her death notice that appeared in the Schenectady Gazette the next day.
