Fair mild day but not very bright. Arose 8 A.M. Chored around. Helped father. Sprouted potatoes, cleaned cellar. Father, H.H. and [I] to country. Cultivated, hoed etc. 2-7:30 P.M. Cleaned up. Walked around with Merlin. Sat on front porch. Talked. To bed 11 P.M.
