Hot fair close clear day. Arose 6 A.M. To work at U.S.A.R.D. 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Father, Nellie & I to country place by way of Scotia. Father let Scotia store to T. DeMartin barber. Supper. Worked on Ford. Talked with Ruth. Wrote letter. Played piano etc. To bed 10:15 P.M.

So, I guess the Clossons will not run the store anymore. I didn't get the impression they were doing that anyway, though. Interesting . . . Trying to find the barber Mr. DeMartin, I found a barber from Italy living in Schenectady in 1915 whose name was Tamy DeMartin. He may be the guy.
